This new version of the tried and tested thermal counter has higher image processing power leading to even greater accuracy, along with an on-board solid state memory to time-stamp data. The Thermal counter is connected to our RECAP software for unmatched levels of web-based reporting.

The brand new IRC3000 units that we employ use thermal imaging technology with IP connectivity. The Thermal Counting unit is fitted to the ceiling just inside and above an entrance. The unit monitors the thermal signature of customers passing underneath. It will therefore count bi-directionally even when a number of people are passing simultaneously.

The counter must be mounted at a height slightly greater than the entrance width to cover the full width of the entrance area. Absolute minimum height is 2.2 metres. If the width is greater than 5 metres, a master & slave counter configuration is required for accurate counting. Alternative units with special lenses are available for greater mounting heights (prices will differ). Outdoor units are also available.
