Our Beam Counters are positioned at one side of an entrance, directly opposite a reflector. When a customer enters your site, the beam is broken and a count is registered.
Beam counters are suitable for entrances up to 5 metres wide. They can be blocked by high volumes of traffic - resulting in reduced accuracy. However, Beam Counters tend to work well for entrances with steady, limited footfall.

Single Beam counters – low cost entry-level product suitable for narrow single entrances where high footfall is not expected, and there is no requirement for both ‘in' and ‘out' or ‘occupancy' counts. Wall mounted single beam type can be supplied ready for use complete with mains adaptor, reflector and two magnetic activators. This unit will count total traffic from both directions. |

Dual Beam (Bi-directional) counters – suitable for busier entrances where you want both ‘in' and ‘out' counts giving you the option of monitoring ‘occupancy' levels. Wall mounted double beam type can be supplied ready for use complete with mains adaptor, reflector and two magnetic activators. This unit will specify the total traffic from each direction.
Both single and dual beam counters can be supplied with communications ports allowing integration with our RECAP SOFTWARE to generate automatic reports for you. |
